Sew Your Wardrobe Series - Margot Skirt Edition
Students will bring:
*Sewing machine with a good working knowledge of their machine. Additional needles and extra feet will be helpful, too.
*Fabric and matching thread. Fabric should be medium weight woven fabric such as cotton, linen or chambray, nothing stretchy.
*Waist range fits 23.6" to 57" and 31/5" to 61.4".
*If choosing 55" fabric, sizes A-C require 2 yds, sizes D-F require 2 1/8 yds, G-H require 2 1/2 yds and I-J require 2 5/8 yds.
*If choosing 42" wide fabric, sizes A-C require 2 1/8 yds, D-F require 2 3/8 yds, sizes G-H require 2 1/2 yds and sizes I-J require 2 5/8 yds.
*3/4" elastic to fit around your waist (plus a few inches) is needed if you choose to elasticize the waist.
*Tools, such as scissors, rotary cutter and mat, pins, marking pencil are also needed for class.
*D'Sewist Quilt Shop & More will be open at 8:30am for students to arrive and set up their work area.

| Instructor Bio: | Shelby is an accomplished clothing maker and has been visiting D'Sewist for a few years and often finds great fabric that she uses for her clothing sewing. She is a pattern tester and if you see her in the shop, she is usually sporting one of her great creations. Shelby's love of self-made items and her sparkly personality make her a great resource and teacher. |
